Setkim Kimya has manufactured cleaning and maintenance chemicals since 2005. We develop the formulation in our own laboratory, carry out production through certified processes at our plant in Tuzla, İstanbul, and supply the domestic and export markets both under our own brands and as a contract manufacturer.

We manufacture car care, marine, industrial and carpet cleaning chemicals at our plant in Tuzla, İstanbul. Our products are sold in Turkey under the Divortex, Ekinoks and Vortex brands, while export activity is conducted under the principal Divortex brand.
Company history

2005
Setkim Kimya was established in 2005 with wholly domestic capital by two young investors. The company became the first in Turkey to manufacture brushless, touchless foam-cannon car wash products, and introduced that product group to the Turkish market.

2015
The production knowledge built up in car care chemicals was soon transferred to industrial general cleaning chemicals. In early 2015 the Divortex Marin range for yacht and boat care entered production. In the same year, research and development work on carpet cleaning and carpet care chemicals gave rise to the Ekinoks brand.

2016
The business was restructured in early 2016. The logo, labels and packaging were redesigned, the production plant was modernised, and e-commerce was introduced as a new distribution channel.

Today we operate in three cleaning and maintenance sectors under the Divortex Car Care, Divortex Marin, Divortex Industrial Cleaning, Ekinoks and Vortex Car Care brands. We hold market leadership among corporate customers in the Turkish automotive sector and export to Europe, the Middle East and Russia.

Setkim Kimya İnş. Taah. Paz. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. is an industrial manufacturer of cleaning and maintenance chemicals. Production, formulation and dispatch are all conducted at our plant in Tuzla, İstanbul, under a single roof. Our range falls into four principal groups: car care chemicals, marine products for yacht and boat care, industrial general cleaning chemicals, and carpet cleaning products.
Product development is carried out in our own laboratory, and formulation is not sourced externally. That structure lets us both widen the range under our own brands and, on contract manufacturing work, act directly on the formulation against the performance, dosage, viscosity and fragrance a customer describes. Being the first company in Turkey to manufacture brushless, touchless foam-cannon car wash products was the result of the same approach.
Our products are sold in Turkey under the Divortex Car Care, Divortex Marin, Divortex Industrial Cleaning, Ekinoks and Vortex Car Care brands. What separates the brands is the sector each serves. All of them come out of the same laboratory and the same production line. Export activity is conducted under the principal Divortex brand, and we ship to Europe, the Middle East and Russia.
Our production and product conformity processes are audited by independent bodies under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and our quality, customer satisfaction, occupational health and safety, risk and supply chain security management systems are separately certified. A technical data sheet (TDS) and a safety data sheet (SDS) are provided for every product. CLP/GHS label information and the shipping documentation required for dangerous goods transport (ADR) are prepared on request.

Part of our output is shipped to markets outside Turkey. The product documentation for each shipment is prepared separately, in accordance with the regulations of the destination market.
- Europe For shipments into the European Union, labelling and the safety data sheet are drawn up in the language of the destination country and in accordance with its regulations.
- Middle East We ship car care and industrial cleaning products to the region.
- Russia Product documentation is prepared separately for shipments to the Russian market.

Contract manufacturing under your own brand
We manufacture car care, marine, industrial and carpet cleaning chemicals under your own brand. The formulation is developed in our own laboratory and production is carried out at our plant in Tuzla.

Label check
The artwork is prepared by you. The regulatory check is carried out by us. The label submitted is assessed against the product's hazard classification and the rules of the market it will be shipped to, and anything missing is reported before production.

What does Setkim Kimya manufacture?

What is the difference between Divortex, Ekinoks and Vortex?
All three brands come out of the same laboratory and the same production line. What separates them is the sector they serve. Divortex Car Care covers vehicle care, Divortex Marin yachts and boats, Divortex Industrial Cleaning industrial cleaning, Ekinoks carpet care, and Vortex Car Care vehicle care. Export activity is conducted under the principal Divortex brand.
What is touchless (brushless) washing?
A washing method in which no brush touches the vehicle: the chemical is applied with a foam cannon and lifts the dirt on its own. Setkim Kimya was the first producer to introduce this product group to the Turkish market.
